As the number of consumers using the Internet to source mortgages increased, it became necessary that the Guardian website convey the stability and trustworthiness of the company. Guardian wanted to improve the look, feel, navigation and content of its website so that visitors would find relevant information in a user friendly format.

Solution:

The goal was to create an attractive, informative site that would communicate the strength of this well respected industry leader. The navigation and flow of the site needed to be designed to focus on the needs of the customer and to reflect current navigation models. Potential customers who come to the Guardian website through third-party mortgage sites should have a positive first experience so that they will be eager to speak with one of the company’s mortgage consultants. A key objective was to provide ample product information that would move visitors toward completing a loan application. This was accomplished through the creation of an online Learning Center where visitors can easily navigate through a tutorial about mortgages and the lending industry. In addition, Mercury Web Solutions was tasked with designing and developing a scalable website that could accommodate password protected access for different audiences in the future.
